Background

Jane joined Heacox Hartman in June 2026 as an associate attorney defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims. Prior to joining the firm, Jane had a career as a high school teacher at a classical school where she taught humanities and writing electives and served as a director on the school board.

Outside of work, Jane enjoys spending time with family and friends, spoiling her and her husband’s two cats, reading, being outdoors, going to the theater, and watching Minnesota sports teams, especially the Lynx and the Wolves.
