Background

Garrett joined the firm in December 2025 as an associate attorney, where he focuses his practice on defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims.

Garrett began his legal career defending Minnesota workers’ compensation claims where he handled all aspects of litigation. He then broadened his practice by handling complex civil matters in state and federal courts nationwide, gaining invaluable litigation experience. After building a strong foundation in state and federal court, Garrett chose to return to workers’ compensation defense, where his legal career began and where his passion lies.

Outside of his practice, Garrett enjoys spending time with his wife and their black lab, Miley, in addition to hunting, fishing, watching sports, refereeing basketball, and playing golf.
