Background

Autumn joined Heacox Hartman in 2026 as a shareholder with nearly two decades of experience in Minnesota workers’ compensation defense. Autumn advises employers, insurers, and third-party administrators on complex, high-exposure claims across the state. She is known for her thoughtful strategy, meticulous preparation, and steady advocacy.

 Autumn has represented employers across diverse industries, including health systems, school districts, and construction companies, delivering practical, business-focused counsel tailored to each client’s operational realities. She partners closely with claims professionals and risk managers to resolve matters efficiently while maintaining clear, consistent communication throughout the life of a claim. She brings a data-driven mindset and strong interpersonal skills to every matter she handles.

 Her litigation experience includes presenting oral argument before the Minnesota Supreme Court. She also speaks at industry events, including the 2024 Minnesota Employers Workers’ Compensation Alliance conference.

 Outside the office, Autumn enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, reading, listening to podcasts, traveling, and attending live theater productions, including off-Broadway performances.
