Background
Alena joined Heacox Hartman in December 2025 as an associate attorney defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims. Alena received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and law degree from the University of St. Thomas. In law school, she served on the board of the first Space Law Society established in Minnesota. Prior to joining the firm, Alena worked at a criminal defense firm in Minneapolis. Outside of work, Alena enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
