Professional Awards: Ms. Feenstra has been listed for a number of years in the Minnesota Journal of Law and Politics as a “Rising Star” and also as a “Super Lawyer.” She was listed in the “Top 40” workers’ compensation attorneys in the Minnesota Journal of Law and Politics.
Interests: Ms. Feenstra and her husband have two children and spend most of their time traveling to karate tournaments, lacrosse games, baseball games, Cub Scout activities, and school activities. When not being either an attorney or a mom, Charlie enjoys scrap booking, traveling, and Sunday afternoon football.
About Charlene:
In addition to workers’ compensation defense, Ms. Feenstra practices in various aspects of insurance defense and subrogation. She has handled appeals to the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals, Minnesota Court of Appeals, and Minnesota Supreme Court. Ms. Feenstra has been a speaker at the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Deskbook Seminar and is also a co-author of one of the Deskbook chapters. Charlie came to Heacox, Hartman, Koshmrl, Cosgriff & Johnson, P.A. in November of 1996 after doing employee’s work in a small firm. She is also the co-chair of the Workers’ Compensation Committee of the Minnesota Defense Lawyer’s Association.
Ms. Feenstra is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, American Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Association.
